Now that the iOS 18 beta is on it's 3rd iteration, and with more mobile networks enabling RCS for iPhone. I wondered whether there was any update or plan for when EE will enable RCS for iPhone on the network?
I know RCS has been available on EE for a few years now with Android, and figured they'd be fairly quick to implement it with iOS but doesn't seem to be available yet and wondered if there was a way to get it enabled or just wait for an update in the future?

Hmmm EE still need to work on their end. Go to settings > general > about then tap network provider. The value should be Voice, SMS & RCS but I only see Voice & SMS

Same here, guess it’s a matter of time

Oh I didn’t know that. That’s very helpful. I don’t even have many people to try it with even if it was working 😂

9to5Mac has this in their what’s new section:
RCS has been enabled for a number of new carriers, including:
Orange UK
T-Mobile UK
Where do they get this stuff 😖

It’s technically correct as EE operates using the MNC for Orange and T-Mobile. MNC = Mobile Network Code , a unique identifier for a network.

Mine shows Voice, SMS and RCS now so it’s defo on its way. Also when I try to send message to an android phones it’s saying RCS now instead of SMS. Although some android friends it still says SMS as I’m guessing they don’t have RCS activated though
