Now that the iOS 18 beta is on it's 3rd iteration, and with more mobile networks enabling RCS for iPhone. I wondered whether there was any update or plan for when EE will enable RCS for iPhone on the network?
I know RCS has been available on EE for a few years now with Android, and figured they'd be fairly quick to implement it with iOS but doesn't seem to be available yet and wondered if there was a way to get it enabled or just wait for an update in the future?

@camchalmers As it’s still a beta software that has nothing to do with EE. EE don’t have to do anything yet in order to get this to work. EE could wait right up until the GM is released.

I know EE could wait, but it does seem as though they would need to do something since it already works on some mobile networks but not others?

I don’t think anyone is suggesting they “have” to do anything. They wouldn’t “have” to support this feature even after release.

@camchalmers As I said it’s beta software and that’s not even the public beta software. And I’ll said this at present this is a Developer beta software that’s not meant for the public its purpose is to allow developers to make sure there apps are ok for iOS 18. But I suppose you’re a developer just like everyone else who has issues with beta software and something that requires network support. Sorry I didn’t mean that to sound like that,

You are just unnecessarily rude. Maybe, next time if you don’t have the answer to a question just don’t post a reply.

I’m also waiting for this, I’m on iOS18b3 and RCS is not there as shown below I followed the path -

I also support that EE is leading telecom operator so EE should consider enabling this, no matter is release is beta or public for iOS but EE can confirm if they will use bring this for us or not as this is operator dependent too

You can bet that this will be available. EE support more apple features than any other network . It’s just that they don’t have to support it yet and this is just like App developers who don’t have to release updates for their apps to support iOS 18 betas.
Part of the agreement to use beta software is that not all services or features will be available. You accepted that when you agreed to use beta software.
Not to mention EE might have an agreement with Apple about this and can not violate that agreement if there is one.

@AshleyM3 I take it you didn’t read all of what I put or did and choose to ignore that.
