Not letting me sign in

I have had Apple Music for a while now. But it's has now signed me out saying I need to sign up again? When I do it says I cannot use my phone number? I have Apple Music as free add on. I've contacted Apple but they are saying i would need to sign in with an email. But it's asking for a phone number. So what am I supposed to do?

@Youngie79 Are you using a iPhone ? If you are are you not logged in to your Apple account on that device?
Your number is already registered against an Apple account so you can not create a new account with that number
