Anyone else having problems with EE in relation to the delivery of the series 8? Pre ordered mine yesterday and was told that over the phone it will be delivered on launch day. Spoke to EE again this morning and it’s now changed to 3 weeks!

I finally but the bullet and contacted customer services (I actually used the chat function as I’m at work and can’t spend time on the phone but had to complain to get them to actually check for me) and I was told 7 days and that I won’t be able to get any more information until it ships.
They’ve logged a complaint for me about the lack of communication and the delay after being promised a quick delivery. We’ll see what they say!

Still waiting for any updates from 9th September. Phoning again now , been in queue for 35 mins, be far easier if they had regular updates on your portal would save people phoning them and getting more frustrated.

So this just proves that clearly nobody in EE has a clue what is going on.
Yesterday Customer Services told me I wouldn't be getting mine for 7 days and that I would get a text from DPD when it was shipped. I'm also registered on the DPD app so usually get a notification from that too whenever anything is sent to me.
I just answered the door to DPD and they've delivered my watch. I had no text from DPD and the delivery isn't showing up on the app!
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that it's actually arrived. I'm still annoyed about the way EE have dealt with things though.

They said exactly the same thing to me yesterday on 7 days, I also have the DPD app ready, and have received no texts or updates in DPD app. So holding out hope after your experience.

I ordered the Apple Watch 8 45mm on the 10th of September and haven’t received anything at all from Ed or dpd but just logged into my account and the watch and plan was added to it on September the 28th.How can they be charging me for something I don’t have???

When the plan changes, it tends to mean that the delivery is imminent. Is there anything on the DPD app?
