Will EE support International Roaming in the EU if I have the roam abroad smart benefit pass?

It's entierly on EE. I had the same terrible experience. EE's hotline is poorly trained and they'll keep waisting your time asking you to check your settings, pair/unpair your watch, or talk to Apple. If you insist, they will refuse to escalate to anyone competent in the matter. Terrible service!

That's exactly right. They just need to flick a switch. Why they haven't yet done so is beyond me. This can only because they deliberately want to **bleep** off their high paying customers. Shows what a joke "competition" is in the UK market. Companies like EE don't give a damn about customers they lock in for 24 months to their sub-standard services.

Exactly the same. Paying top money for Apple Watch Ultra, EE 5G, roaming, etc. And now find myself with a mostly useless cellular watch for running because of sheer stupidity or malice from EE's part. We are suckers to think this company cares about their customers.

Hi @marcpuricelli

Roaming support will be implemented in the near future, details will be made available via ee.co.uk and our retail channels when this is available.

Leanne.

@marcpuricelli   Silly question but what has being a high paying customer got to do with it.    It’s got nothing todo with the amount you pay.  Your contract amount is what you agreed to pay and roaming is a service that anyone can use regardless of the amount they pay.  that’s borderline discrimination on people who don’t pay that much.  Why should say people who say pay £50+ a month have this and people who don’t pay that amount shouldn’t.   Because that’s what you’re saying basically.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

@marcpuricelli   Your purchasing a watch that cost £849 with that contract ( that’s what Apple charges) and to have a cellular connection your paying £111 to have a cellular connection on that watch in the uk  You’re not paying £960 just for the cellular connection over 24 months your also paying for the product.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi, thanks but as others have mentioned here, that's useless corporate talk. What's the near future? Next year? 2035? At least give us a timeframe...

Sorry, we don't have any further information to share at the moment @marcpuricelli

Leanne.

Chris, I would love to argue with you about this over Christmas but I won't indulge and just say a few things. 1) First of all, who are you, EE's mother? You think you need to defend this poor, defenseless, corporation from its ungrateful customers? Of all the good causes out there, you picked a great one, congratulations. 2) You're right that it's not entirely about money. The core issue is that EE is denying us a functionality that is readily available (built into the product) and refuses to give us an explanation why. Is it fair that one of the core funcitionalities of my watch ceases to work everytime I leave the country? Would it be fair if the camera on my iphone stopped working while abroad? Of course not. We are **bleep**ed off because there's litteraly ZERO reason for EE to switch this off besides incompetence or laziness. As for money, it just adds injury to insulte that I'm paying EE extra for a crippled apple watch plan and international roaming. Even if I was paying less, or even zero extra bucks on this, it would still be unjust. In the meantime, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hi,

I was wondering if there are any news on the timescale?
