I guess it's pot luck. As I ordered the day after the event and my partner
ordered yesterday and we are both receiving ours this afternoon.

More than likely but I use to have problems with dpd, where I don't get a tracking number and it still comes, so I'm just keeping my fingers and toes crossed lol

Nothing from EE or DPD, and my DPD app says You have no parcel activity.

Just out of interest to those who have a text or a delivery, what device and size did you order? I ordered the 1TB yellow. It COULD be a factor?

Could be.

I ordered black 1tb on the 18th... Still nothing. 

No text from EE or DPD and my DPD app shows no activity. Order tracking on EE website isn't working, keeps coming up with "bad message"

Tried "linking product" on the EE app (I'm a new customer) and it just goes to a blank screen and does nothing 😔

Ee said it could be cos I ordered the 1tb version in black but its a first come first serve basis

Well this gives me not much hope, and nothing to do with EE as they problably don't have the stock for it either, but looking at the Samsung website, and all colours for the 1TB is saying 19th Feb, where as the 512GB models are available now. This is poor show from Samsung if they don't even have the stock to send out on a big release like this

I thought the ultra was out on the 24th or have I got the wrong day

It's got nothing to do with Samsung not having enough stock per se. It's the fact it's a massive phone and you can only manufacterur so much at a time.

This happens every year with the S series

It also happens with iPhones.

Demand outweighs supply.

The Ultra variant is the most popular variant. There will be a lot of unlucky people who don't get it on release day.

Looks like you were one of them unfortunately.
