Pixel 6A - battery drain after android 14 update

Hi

Last week my phone updated to Android 14 and ever since I am having real issues with battery drain and the phone getting hot.. I have tried many suggestions such as changing battery settings and checking the apps are all updated and not specifically draining, but nothing has helped. I have around 6 month before i can upgrade and do not want to have to deal with this for this length of time.

It looks like many users had the same issue, however more so back in November when the Beta came out. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

@FillN  have you tried a factory reset?

No I don't want to reset the phone if I can avoid it, also don't see why I should have to after simply upgrading the OS. Cheers
