Good afternoon,
Since I have had my Google Pixel 8a since late September, I have not been able to place outgoing calls to int'l mobile phone numbers, yet i can call int'l landlines. The country that I am trying to call is Guernsey, which has the same number format as the UK but is classed as int'l as it's a crown dependency of the UK with different networks to the UK. Whenever i attempt a mobile call to a guernsey number, the standard disclaimer "calls from mobiles are chargeable from this number" then it immediately drops before (without) the ring ring . I try a different guernsey mobile number and it does the same thing. I have been on the phone to several EE agents about this, who have told me to switch my phone off and on and change the sim settings on it but this has still not worked for me at all . I can receive calls from int'l mobiles but not make any outgoing int'l mobile calls at all. I have tried phoning in int'l format ( +447781******) but this still doesn't work at all. Does anyone else have a similar experience no matter which country they phone with this phone? It happens no matter where i phone from, whether it's from my flat or in the city centre and doesn't matter if i have wifi calling turned on/off but still have this trouble persistently. There is no barring on my account at all and i have not yet used all of my int'l minutes at all.

Hi @Katherine90
Are you on EE PAYG or pay monthly contract.
Do you have international calls/premium rate numbers activated on your account. Have you any spend cap in place.
Thanks

I'm pay monthly and have int'l calls activated on my account. I have no spend cap at all

@Katherine90 , I can only suggest entering the number as new and see if that works, I had to do that with my brother, while visiting him in Switzerland, other international numbers did work, but not his, and once added as new, it worked.

I tried that and it did not work at all

Try setting a spend cap that is at least £5 higher than what you're likely to spend - to allow some headroom. Something to eliminate.
