Hi.
I am unable to send or receive emails and i have no internet connection on my mobile.
I have restarted, did the airplane mood toggle thing, reset the network setting but still not working
Can anyone advise?

It is all working fine today.
It just seems to happen randomly once a week.
Sorry for the hassle and I appreciate all the responses. I think I will just need to live with it.

Are you on pay as you go or contract?
If on pay as you go, how long is it since you made a chargeable call or text?
Are you able to try the SIM card in another device to see if it gets a connection or able to try another SIM card in your phone to see if that is the problem, that is do a sim swap with someone?

Does it just seem to be internet affected here, or is it your calls and texts too?
Also if you look next to the signal bars on your screen, can you see a 4G or 5G indicator next to them?
Just be aware you'll need to switch of WiFi in order to see this, as that will always be the default when available.

I can make calls and messages go Text/SMS only, not connected messaging
There is a wee 5G sign top right and VOLP I think, my eyesight is bad lol

Have you had access to the internet on this device previously?
Do you know anyone with an unlocked/EE device you could quickly try the SIM card in to see if you can access the internet? This would help us to see if the problem follows your SIM card or the phone.

Thanks for coming back to me and letting me know.
If this is happening weekly, it's worth checking for any reported service problems using the Service Status Checker and if nothing is showing you can report this to be looked into.
If this is not a service problem, give us a call on 150, and the team can get everything checked at our end to see what may be causing the data to stop working 🙂
