New Android Phone Not Receiving Updates

I bought a Samsung S24+ two months ago from Amazon and it is working well with my EE Sim, but it has not received any updates. My old phone using the same Sim used to get them regularly.

The new phone has Android 15, but I am concerned that it only has the security updates from July 2025.

What is likely causing this problem please and how can I get the updates started?

Updates come from Samsung direct. 

If your device is not from the UK/Europe you will receive updates for the region the device was designed.
