Lost my Android Phone - Contacts & Photos

Hi,

I lost my phone at the weekend. EE are sending out a new SIM with the same number. I am going to use my old handset temporarily. When I put the new SIM in the phone is there any way for me to restore my contacts and photos? Hope you can assist.🤞

Contacts & photos are usually stored on either the phone and/or an SD-card (except with Apple)

Did you have a backup of these?

I don't recall taking a back up. Someone mentioned google drive??
