EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Thank you for this link! Although it says my phone is unlocked, it's asking
me to pop in another SIM card. I'm wondering if I take out the SIM card and
reinsert it, if that will work? Sue.

To complete the unlocking you need to use a SIM card from a different network for the unlock to complete/test.
