How do I permanently download voicemail messages on android?

  • This visual voicemail feature only seems to be available to iPhone users. Is there a way of downloading the audio for voicemail messages on android as they automatically delete after 7 days?

No, you'll have to record them either on the device (if you have the option/via an app) or use another device.
