Getting google OFF my phone

It seems my msg facilities has been taken over by Google, and now I don't get any? There is a just a Google screen?

I think the upside down triangle that you mentioned is 'data saver' mode, which shouldn't affect your calls, @NorthTower.

When was the last time you used your phone to make a call, or send a text message? When was the last time you topped up?

Have you tried restarting the phone?

Actually this phone is a 5033X_EEA, I am now looking for a manual, what does the EEA stand for?

The EEA could mean that it's a European software variant, @NorthTower.

I have got the manual which will help. But there are symbols on the screen not in the manual  a bell with a line through it, and a sort of greek b shape covered by a cross?  And there is still no EE next to the signal bars?

ok, that was blue tooth, and I got sound back. but still wont take incoming calls?

Yes, it was the hibernation thing. I can now make and receive calls, but still txt msgs are not getting through?

Can you text BALANCE to 150, does the message send and do you get a reply with your balance information?
