My Samsung Galaxy S10 has suddenly refused to

transfer files to my PC, it will charge only but wont

give me the option to transfer files?

That said, what happens when you try to transfer files? USB file-transfer can sometimes be an option in the phone settings.

I presume you've restarted the phone & laptop, and also tried different USB ports?

@DGE  Can you try a different USB port ?  Can you try a different cable ?  Not all cables can transfer data so if this is a cable you’ve not used for this purpose it could just be that.     Have a read of THIS  as you just might need to reset the USB port.
