Hi, we’re new to EE having spent the last 7 years with Virgin. We’re finding it a challenge & frustrating adapting to the set up. In some ways slightly dissapointed too but we’re going to give it a go! One thing that’s causing a current issue is that the tv freezes during a certain period between the adverts when viewing itvx through the mini box. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi Lesley, appears to be yes & just on the mini box. I called EE earlier & they carried out some checks but still the same. They advised if it continues to contact ITVX. I’m thinking it could be the WiFi although strange it drops at the same point!

If it's just that channel, I can see why they would point to that being the issue.
What kind of checks did they do?

We are suffering same issue, tried full reset and still nothing. I have a booster box close to my mini box and its still happening every program and set of adverts.
Getting extremely frustrated, between that and recordings not syncing between boxes (like they do with Sky and was told they would when I changed to EE) looks like we will be finding another provider the second I can get out this contract

I flagged the recent reports around ITVX to our TV team, and they've confirmed that it's something they're actively investigating.
If we get any updates on this we'll be sure to let you know, but often any fixes will be rolled out to your box automatically, too
