Hi. I’m having issues with my tv connected to the EE box constantly stuttering and freeing pictures. It’s connected to the hub over wifi as wired is not an option. Can anyone recommend a wifi extender other than EE’s to overcome this issue

@DavidB56 , you could have a look at Amazon or EBay for extenders that plug into a wall plug
I have Netgear router with extender using the same make and develo extenders and they work well.

I purchased the wall extenders from Amazon I bought two . They don’t work, not for me anyway .

@welshbishop , did you first try to set it up near your router? You may have to use the compatible setting to set it up, not sure otherwise, as have always had Netgear and as instructions say, set it up first near your router and make sure it works before moving it where needed.
Which one did you get, by the way? There should be instructions how to set it up or look via the website for that particular model you have purchased.

Hi. Thanks for the advice. I haven’t done anything about fixing it yet. In all honesty I’m completely fed up with EE. Have had constant issues with home phones dropping out, internet connection breaking down , fed up of resetting hub and now tv playing up. All EE says is they don’t guarantee WiFi connection on my contract. If I’d have known this before I changed from Sky I would never have done so. That’s why I don’t want to give EE any more of my money. Can’t wait for contract to end and go back to Sky

Ever since our router was changed from BT to the ER one and we moved from sky to Now we have had the same issues! We have had 5 engineer visits and have been told by complaints that if the n cat visit doesn’t fix it they will cancel our TV contract with them! My worry is how do I know the EE router would work with Sky now?
I don’t recall asking for a new full fibre broadband contract but my account says this was activated in July 26.
Any advice would be appreciated- totally p****d off with EE.

Hi @7264.
Welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear you've had such a frustrating experience, especially after multiple engineer visits.
Hopefully the next appointment helps to get to the bottom of the problem.
If you don't recall agreeing to a new Full Fibre contract, I'd recommend getting in touch with our customer support team so they can clarify the changes showing on your account.
