Hi All the BT/EE box is absolutely horrendous, Menu is horrid, Remote doesn't and can't control my TV tried everything including all resets nothing works, Audio from the box is terrible have to adjust the output in the menu to stereo or the levels are rubbish. As the remote doesn't control certain TV's your left using two remotes one to power TV and control Volume and another to change channels.
The HDMI picture isn't very good I have a Firestick and Apple TV that both produce a better picture especially in HD / 4K content the images from BT/EE box are just not as sharp. The standard TV watching via the Now TV app on a fir stick is far superior to using the BT/EE box to the point they are almost HD quality on the fire stick and just look like a old TV via the BT/EE box.
Really not impressed by this box and I now find myself using firestick to watch TV due to this I really don't see the benefit of having TV channels as this feature isn't available on my stick and its just terrible to watch using the BT/EE box.
I want to cancel my TV pack but been told its not possible, I wouldn't advise you buy the TV package. I have a Hikvision TV which isn't supported so as above the features aren't there.
poor poor attempt at a receiver, and the startup video you can't skip of Rylan well that's another issue in its self, can't stand the bloke and I am forced to watch him drone on while box loads up.

I absolutly agree, I wish I had never switched to EE, I am so disappointed with it so much so, I have un plugged it & am now using Amazon fire stick, The box wont stay on, THere are no channels to watch that interest me, The remote volume control has stopped working less than a month of getting it, I have had EE Tv for 7 weeks now & have hated every second of it, I so wish I could go back to sky for my TV, EE has been fantastic where my internet is concerned but total rubbish for my telly,

You can control when the box turns itself off from the power settings. If it's turning off at other times then this is a fault.

Surely you knew that before you signed up? Though we offer most of the same subscription channels as other TV services.

This also sounds like a fault. Have you tried resetting the remote?

@spindragon1 @DarrenDev @Cora-Mq . I have recently moved to EE from Sky Glass and personally I am really glad I did. My view on the menu is that it much less cluttered that the one I had with Sky. I find it is logically laid out and easy to follow. Also the Continue Watching rail on Sky is horrendous and (for me) it works much better on the EE TV box as well. I also like the fact that I can both record and stream programmes as well.
Regarding the remote. The EE TV remote works for me but I still need a separate remote to switch the TV off and to control the volume properly. I have overcome the need to use 2 remotes by using a One For All remote that I have set up to operate the TV, the set top box and also both of them together. Took about 5 mins to program
