TV Box Mini Issues

I’ve been on the new EE TV for just over a month now after some teething issues with the Apple TV box. I’ve been having trouble with frequent connection drops and tv channels not loading on the EE TV mini box I have in my second bedroom. When this happens I’m forced to unplug and turn on the box to get it going again.

I have the smart hub plus downstairs in the living room and a smart WiFi plus mesh unit upstairs, so there should be no issues with WiFi coverage. However whenever I check, on the TV mini box it complains about poor WiFi strength despite every other device in the same room having no issues at all.

Please advise? As these issues are happening on a daily basis.

It’s rubbish. Just gave up and plugged an old fire stick back in instead. The WiFi is certainly faster than my old system though!

3rd party mesh extender? If so, does it support EETV multicast?

No, the EE extender

EE have now sent me TP Link AV 1300 2 of them, still managing to get a break up of picture now every 20 minutes or so,which is still annoying, the TP Links one connected to the router with Pro box and the other to the Mini box in my bedroom.Still have the power surge extension lead which the Mini box is connected to the TP Link,i was wondering if there was any way of solving the problem of picture break up other than using block multi way adapters, may be using a wifi extender or something called complete wifi to strengthen the signal that EE provide at a monthly cost.Or some other way?.
