Hi all,
2 questions:
1. I have access to TNT sports as part of my EE mobile plan. Is there a way to watch this subscription via the channels on the EETV set top box?
2. I have an old BTID on which I had a lot of purchased content. Is there any way to move these purchased assets over to y new EETV account?
Many thanks.
Neil

1. I'm afraid not - you can use the discovery+ app on the box, but to watch it on the channels you need an EE TV subscription.
2. This should have happened automatically, if you moved your account across from BT to EE. If you cancelled BT and then took a new account with EE then they'd be separate TV accounts, for which we don't have a process to merge them unfortunately.

Thanks for the quick reply Darren.
1. Never-mind, it was worth asking
2. Yeah it has been a while since I closed my BT account then set up and new EE account.

Hi @Taliadsouza17.
Welcome to the EE Community.
Please text SPORT to 150, you should then receive a link to complete set up.

I’ve just encountered this problem.
I have been a BT broadband customer for a long time (over 10 years) as well as an EE customer (over 10 years).
my BT account was changed and set up for EE TV a year ago but is not the same account as my EE mobile account. I do get some discounts and bonus data so the accounts are linked in some way.
i now have TNT sports as an extra on my mobile but I can’t get the BT EE TV to recognise I am subscribed. I can log into the Discovery plus app on the EE tv box and watch a show, but I can not access via the TV channel (so I can’t set a recording)
your answer above implies this can’t be fixed ?
how could I get a unified account now that you are one company and deal with this. There must be a way to bring your services under one roof, particularly if the customer is ready to do it.

It's not about being unified @Mikeeprior - they're different products. If you want to watch on EE TV, you need to subscribe via EE TV.

Thanks for the quick response @DarrenDev
So, I am able to subscribe for TNT sports by choosing it has an included extra on my EE phone plan, but an EE product (EE TV) won’t recognise that I am subscribed to the channel. Seems a bit wrong to me.
EE advertises that I Save £20 per month by using this Extra Add on, but you tell me I have to spend £20 to use it on an EE platform. When you pick the Add On, you are told:
i understand you didn’t set this up, but please pass this observation on to those that do and recognise how it looks to us (loyal) customers.
