Subtitles on NOW app

Hello do we have any news on when subtitles is going to available for watching the NOW app via EE TV pro box? ( I currently have the BT TV pro box but I assume the issue remains on the new EE TV pro boxes)

All films and shows selected from there don't have the option to put subtitles on which results you having to put the volume blasting (even for people with no hearing problems). 
This could be easily sorted and it’s not exactly an unreasonable ask considering that we pay monthly for TV with Now being a big part of the Tv package ….

Can you ask someone to add the information about the lack of subtitles on the EE TV purchase pages? It is a major factor in the decision to me, and I'm sure it is to others.

Good news - subtitles are now available on the Now app on all EE TV boxes.

How do you get the subs titles on the apps programmes not the TV ?

It can be different for every app and every platform, but generally, pause the programme, and you should see some little boxes come up. Navigate to the one that looks like a speech bubble, and click it. That should let you select subtitles if they are available.

If that doesn’t work, see if you are on a platform where subtitles are controlled centrally, by looking in the platform’s Settings app, usually under Accessibility.

If still no go, please quote a specific app or apps, and the platform or platforms you are using, and I will have a look.

Have just changed over to EE TV Box and have subtitles turned on always but sky news 233 and the other sky channels around it have no subtitles.  Can this be fixed?

Not all programmes are guaranteed to add subtitles @VICTEED , however I've just checked Sky News on 233 and subtitles are working.  Could you please double check now?
