Recordable tv boxes

Can anyone tell me why EE won't let me have 2 recordable boxes,as I have had (with BT) for years until EE came along.

Long story that I cannot be bothered sharing, too boring anyway! Suffice to say that somehow BT/EE f....d up on five occasions, now hopefully sorted as of his coming Tuesday. I will feedback sometime after if all is resolved.
