Queries re Apple TV with mesh

Am currently with Sky broadband and Sky Q. Been using Apple TV and its fab, esp with TV Launcher for tv and all the usual apps, inc Disney etc.

I use Sonos through house which doesn't like the sky wifi boosters, so I plan to set up mesh with Eeros.

If I change to EE for broadband, I can use Eeros directly into the ONT and not bother with SH (don't need DV)

Will I still be able to watch EETV on an Apple TV from EE without a SH? I have just learnt that I cannot watch the EE app on my existing Apple TV, but will I be able to watch Now and Netflix on their native apps using my EE account if I upgrade them?

If I already have an Apple TV, is there any point in bothering with EETV, rather than just buy another ATV and use the existing apps and watch live TV on TV Launcher? Do I lose anything?

thanks

Yes, EE TV on Apple TV will work fine with other routers, but please note that it will not be supported - if you have any issues, you'll be asked to connect the hub provided as part of your contract.

The Freeview part of the service will only work on the Apple TV provided as part of the service, but all other elements will work on your own device - including Now and Netflix.

I can't comment on whether you'd consider it worth it.
