Good evening all I hope you’re well,
I was wondering if someone could please share their experience with Apple TV on an EE-issued Apple TV (I.e, from EE).
I understand there’s not currently a watch list but how easy is it to find catch up programs from the EE App, in particular, Sky Sports F1?
My Dad watches this and would need a very easy way to check what’s on catchup and to search for things easily.
I would prefer to use an Apple TV, as I already have one upstairs and they’re very smooth /not laggy at all, though I don’t know how it compares to the Pro Box in terms of this.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@PhantomSignalI've been using the Apple TV as provided by EE rather than the Prob Box and much prefer. There is a watch list but it is called continue watching. It's very easy to add programs to this through Apple TV. Once you have started watching programs this way it will keep track of where you are up to and allow you to move on to the next episode. Once you have watched all available episodes of a program it drops off the Continue Watching Rail but will automatically reappear when a new episode is available to view.
The only viewing that can't currently be done in this way is for Netflix where you still have t9 view through the Netflix App. I only use the EE TV app go watch live TV using the EPG.
Hope this helps

The EE TV app does do a good job of highlighting new content available. But I’ll be honest, this seems to be heavily weighted towards programming from Freeview.
I did look for F1 and the highlights programme on Channel 4 was featured. The Now app would give you more details for the live programming on Sky F1.

Thank you ever so much both so far for your views and responses. I do really appreciate it.
I’ve gone with the Apple TV 4K for now, as from reading, catchup apps (like iPlayer, etc.) can also be accessed from the EE App itself and the Pro Box doesn’t have Disney+ (unless it has been recently added).
