So now tv have introduced a boost option to add 4k channels and on demand. It’s called ultra boost.

when will ee tv Apple TV users etc be able to receive this?

But you knew - though I didn’t - that none of the linear streams from Entertainment and Cinema are in UHD.

And it’s only the linear streams that are in multicast.

So those test streams can only be for the four linear Sky Sports channels.

Any UHD we finally get from Now except on those channels will be unicast.

Unless the upcoming changes to the Now platform are much bigger than we envisage….

Is the tv.apps@ee.co.uk email still monitored? Need some help unlinking my Now TV now that my EE tv been cancelled 2 months ago it’s still linked. Can you help? I send email back in January and few days ago with my details? And yes I tried Customer Services without luck so your help would be greatly appreciated 🙏

Hi @qucharsky  I believe that EE stopped promoting that email address a few months ago (it used to be listed as a contact in the Google Play store/IOS App Store for the EE TV app) but no longer is. Personnel have also moved on.

That is just great. Thanks for letting me know. I honestly am fed up with EE customer services - they always come up with different excuses and answers and timescales and every single time the date comes up and it’s still not done. I’m tired of having to complaint to get anything done and even then it’s not always done 😹

New to EE just signed up after too many years as a sky tv customer. I didn't realise that Boost isn't 4k UHD which I'm very disappointed at. After reading this thread as a Full works customer do we expect EE to upgrade Boost to Ultra Boost?
