So now tv have introduced a boost option to add 4k channels and on demand. It’s called ultra boost.
when will ee tv Apple TV users etc be able to receive this?

Weirdly minutes after I wrote the post then EE called me as a follow up from me ordering. They've assured me that we can all watch the same packages at the same time I.e we can all watch different now channels.
Simple answer is that if this isn't the case then equipment will be going back and we will go back to Sky as multi room works perfectly at the moment and our main reason for switching is getting TNT sports for the same price as we pay Sky without it.

Did you order Now Boost, or something, like the HD/4K AddOn, which includes Now Boost?
What I’m talking about isn’t a Multiroom issue, it’s the simultaneous streams issue that some of the base subscriptions have:-
3 devices Now Sports + Netflix + BBC iPlayer - fine.
3 Devices all Netflix - not without a higher tier subscription
3 Devices all Now channels - not without Now Boost

On the EE app under our account we have Now Boost showing so assuming from what your are saying then we should be fine with all 3 streaming Now at the same time then.

I don’t know. I hope so, but Now have just dropped their Boost limit from 3 boxes at a time to two at a time.
So maybe you got in before the limit came down; if so, fine.
Or maybe you didn’t. But EE TV Now subscribers, even without Boost, can use two devices at once, as long as one of them is in the Now app, and one is using the Now live channels. So with three devices and Boost, I reckon you should be able to have two devices each in the app, plus the third looking at the Live channels.
But three all trying to use On Demand at once, maybe not.
Let’s page the oracle - @DarrenDev any thoughts on this?
One other thing to know about Now, by the way, is that it doesn’t have profiles. So if two or more of you are trying to watch the same programme or series, then keep a note of where you got to, as the Now marker can only cover one of you, probably the latest use, whoever that was,

Fortunately the boxes come Monday, so will soon see, if we can't make it work then will be cancelling. Two different staff have assured me it will work so hopefully so but 14 day cooling off gives us a bit of leeway!
Hopefully the person you tagged will be able to assist and clarify.
Thanks for your help!

You used to get 2 Now TV streams as standard, or 3 with Boost - regardless of what TV Box subscription you have. Unfortunately EE’s multiroom subscription is independent of Now’s Boost.
Mobile devices, or non EE boxes have a separate device allowance. That is what I believe has now changed to 2 streams for new customers.
So as long as you don’t have more than 3 boxes in use at one time, you should be good. I expect the option of 3 streams to be added back in when Ultra Boost is made available through EE. Hopefully sooner rather than later… they are testing it.
If they follow the same introduction as direct Now subscriptions, users taking Boost HD will be automatically upgraded to Ultra at the same price. New or returning users will pay the new Ultra Boost price.

Now’s 2 streams as standard finished over a year ago, maybe longer. 3 with Boost is being honoured for Boost customers as at 31 July, but new direct Now customers will only get 2 streams. If he was a new direct Now customer, @MST84 would pay extra for UltraBoost, and I haven’t heard that that would give you more than 2 streams.
But what the deal with EE TV will be remains to be seen.
Now is device-agnostic; it counts only what the number of devices on a given login is; there’s no separate allowance for certain types of devices.
What there is though, is a slightly different arrangement for EE TV subscribers without Boost, who are able to watch two Now streams at once, one on the Now app, and one on the Live channels in the EE TV EPG. But I don’t think there was any special arrangement for Now customers who took Boost, beyond the 3 streams that gave you.
It remains to be seen what, if any, special arrangements there will be for EE TV Now subscribers whose Boost would give them only 2 streams if it followed the pattern for direct Now subscribers; so 3 streams may be a possibility or it may not, and I don’t think we yet know which.

This is the latest reference I can find from May, which mentions separate allowances and 2 as standard… but it may of changed.

If it has, perhaps @DarrenDev can explain.

The context of that post was what you got with EE TV. You have to jump through a couple of hoops to get two streams going with EE TV, but it can be done, though you can’t have two On Demand streams; one of them must be using the Live streams in the EE TV EPG.
So yes, it’s ‘standard’ in that anyone on EE TV can do this, but it’s not two standard Now streams.
However, I was anyway referring to Now direct, where the limit without Boost was dropped to one.

All my services went live yesterday and im well impressed. The picture quality on HD channels is brilliant compared to other devices. 1 little niggle is not being able to edit my channel list so i can put them into some kind of order.
