You can guarantee that the day we're allowed to say it's ready will be the day it's posted as an announcement on the forum. There's no point asking for updates I'm afraid - I'm not allowed to give any details.
A reminder though please - there are 2 parts to this:
- Updating the YouView software to support UHD in the Now TV app. This is likely to come fairly soon, and so will work for those who buy their Now TV subscription directly.
- Enabling the ordering of Ultra Boost on EE TV accounts. This is the "long pole" as they say, and is going to take much longer. I also suspect it's going to only be available to order on EE TV accounts on EE Broadband, as I believe only the new EE ordering system is being updated to handle it - don't quote me on it. With that in mind, I would encourage anyone on BT Broadband who is desperate to get this as soon as it's available, to migrate to EE Broadband first so that it's just a quick update to add Ultra Boost.

Apologies and thank you. I know that of course you can’t say too much but was just hoping for some glimmer of hope as I can’t be asked to remove now tv from my package to subscribe separately but might do for now and then come back…

Any chance this upgrade will be available for Christmas? Can’t believe it’s November with no update still, crazy.
thanks

My cousin works in development for EE. Told me Sky Stream will be sold via EE Broadband in next few months. Also said Ultra Boost not compatible with EE Boxes so wont be lauched.

And here we were hoping it will be ready for the olympics 😹
I’m just waiting for minimum term to end and cancelling. My own fault for buying something based on ‘promises’ something will be available ’soon’ 😂
Same with broadband and mobile. EE are the more expensive ones but I don’t feel like we’re getting premium service to match it.
