It has been at least 6 months since I've seen anything on this and the mythical system upgrade needed to allow. Anything new? @DarrenDev

I'd love to give you an update, but unfortunately I'm not allowed. No updates or clues will be given until an announcement is made.

Hi Darren, are you able to at least tell us if this is still an active project that EE are working with Sky on? If so, it does give people hope that it’s coming at some point hopefully this year. If not, we can make a decision whether or not to get EE TV knowing that Now UHD isn’t going to be an option. Thank you.

It's a mandatory task - we MUST adopt the Ultra Boost add-on, as part of our partner status with Now TV. I cannot set any expectations on when though.
I wish I could say more. I really do.

This is a joke, I joined EETV May 24, I’ve been waiting for Ultra Boost since it was announced, my 2yr contract is about to end and I’m leaving cos I want to watch my very expensive sports in 4K, it doesn’t take 2 years for EE to charge me a few extra on top of HD boost and let me watch 4K, even if it was only through the now app and not via the EETV Pro Box channels, Now know I have a subscription, they know I have HD boost, why wouldn’t they know I’m paying for Ultra Boost? Absolute joke.

Hi @Pilchread,
Welcome to the Community!
Unfortunately the systems connecting EE with Now TV are very complex, both for us to add it to your account, and for them to bill through us for it. It's a major task that is taking a lot longer than expected. Unfortunately, we're still unable to offer any suggestions on when it may become available to order.

Rach says unable to offer any suggestions,,,, we'll here is one, cancel all now TV options via ee, go to now, make a new account, use a now app get it all in uhd and cheaper,

That's always been an option @ChopsKernow - that's the benefit of the flexible TV packages with EE. Obviously you'll lose the ability to record Now TV channels, but if UHD is important to you then I'm sure it'll be worth it.

Darren with a Sony bravia oled I like to have best picture possible, yes flexibility I s good, just a shame you can not change your packages online or on the app, it has never worked since change over to ee, which is really poor service, shouldn't have to call to do it, worked fine on bt, hoping new packages are better in March, ie, hbo and sport without having to have any sky entertainment, as not needed with hbo, here is hoping

I too would like have the 4K ultra boost to watch the F1 on Sky Sports. I was hoping that it would be available for this years season, but sadly that doesn't look likley.
As I get my EE TV through BT is it likely that it would be ever available to me or would it need a move to EE ?
