New EE TV Box Pro finding no channels in Internet Mode

AQ467
Explorer

Hello,

I’ve just moved from Sky Stream to EE, yet when I follow all instructions and set up my TV it finds no channels whatsoever in Internet Mode. I have tried all troubleshooting available several times, factory resets etc.

The box is 100% connected to the hub and it shows all necessary Apps etc and they work fine.

My TV guide offers nothing.

Can someone please help me as I’m seriously considering switching back,

Thanks

Hi Darren

I am having a similar issue.

No channels in internet mode. I am still using virgin broadband at the moment as my EE connection still hasn’t been delivered. Should it still work over a non EE broadband?

No @Tomgreen97 - it needs to be on BT or EE broadband for internet mode to work. If it's a TV Box Pro that you have then you can connect a TV aerial and use it for Freeview only.

Ok that makes sense then. Just need open reach to deliver the connection now, been waiting for about 6 weeks !

Hi, @DarrenDev

Recently, I have encountered this same issue, I have also went into the available channels and it just says 0.

I really don’t know how to fix this and I need some help.

@iconiccshhh your agreed activation date was yesterday - but it looks like the system didn't update until overnight last night.  Please try factory resetting your TV Box again, and it should pick up everything correctly now.

Same thing here can anybody help ?

When did you set up your box @Kop87 ?  Everything looks good on your account, so if it was booted for the first time now, it should work fine.  If you booted the box before your line was active, then a factory reset now should sort it.

Having the same issue.   Already had ee broadband.  Changed to bt today.   Had email confirmations.  Set up pro box tonight.  Found 133 channels.    I can see them in my list but they won’t play.  Says I have an issue with my broad band.   Which I don’t.      I have done full reset.

please help.

Hi @Ladybanham and thanks for the post.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with your EE TV. Our online guides can help with this. Take a look at Fix EE TV | BT Help and let me know how you get on.

Cheers

David

I can see your TV channels started working about 2 hours after you posted, so I guess our guides managed to sort you out?
