So after watching btsport on sky for years ive been saddled with this stupid box, as if i dont have enought routers and tv boxes i have to have this aswell.
Ive tried to set it up and on the tv it says its connected to the internet but the green light on the router is flashing and i cant get certain channels as it says im not connect but only i am, its tellimg me i am
Ive lost my bt land line aswell since having been moved to ee ive not been able to make or receive calsl for 2 weeks al because of this stupid box.
So ive decided the land line is more important and tnt sport can jog on.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

That is a bb router but its an old bt one. with your new tv box and set up you should have recieved a newer version probably with ee branding. if you look at this page itll be one of the 3 they have as pictures on there https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/set-up-guide . if you didn't get one then contact EE and they'll get it sorted for you. if you do decide to cancel make sure to keep all the equipment as they'll ask for it back and charge you a p hefty amount if you don't.

Hey,
Your landline probably switched over to digital voice on EE so it'd be worth checking if you'd set it up correctly with the port on the back of the hub rather than the wall socket. If that won't work then it's probably worth factory resetting your hub before contacting EE.
In terms of the flashing green light on the hub, is it green or is it teal? The green is usually like a traffic light pure green. Flashing actual green wouldn't be something the hub should be doing so if its definitely the EE Smart hub that's flashing that'd be the issue. The TV pro box and the Digital voice would both not be working if there was a broadband issue so if the Hub is flashing green then I'd suggest contacting EE to resolve that first and then chasing the other issues.

The oval hub is flashing green, pure green around the ee logo.
The 3 blue wifi bars on the front have 2 illuminated blue.
The only sockets on the back is for power and the yellow ethernet cable theres no socket for the phone, and the ethernet cable is plugged into my bt routerto link the 2

Which router do you have? Read its label or post a pix.

Oh, So what you've got there sounds like the Hybrid connect rather than the main BB hub. For your TV and the phone to work properly you'll need to connect them up to the main smart hub which is an upright black rectangle with the EE cutout in the middle. If you moved over from BT you might still need to use your old smart hub 2 with the BT circle on it.
I'd suggest if you're struggling with setup calling EE as one of their guides can guide you through it.

That's not your main router but a Hybrid Connect mobile router used as fall-back when you BB goes down.
Connect your TV to the main BB router.

The pro box is so slow to come on so ill wait untill tomorrow and if i can get the football which i pay for then ill keep it for that but if i dont then i can go in the bin and cancell tnt sport and get my land line back

oh and the slow to come on thing might be the standby mode which you can adjust in the settings you want it on smart or always ready not energy saver.
