Is EETV a disappointment?

Having decided to save money by leaving Sky and moving to EETV, I am beginning to regret the decision less than a week in.

the boxes keep freezing, is this normal?

the WiFi is supposedly at a level I had previously with BT so can only assume that it’s not a network issue.

what am I doing wrong?

@Falcoray the programmes you see on all the TV channels are the same regardless of whether you get them from EE TV or Sky?

@Falcoray  Unfortunately  there are current  issues with the EPG data which means that  LIve often appears at the beginning  of programs  listed in the EPG when in fact the programmes are historical reruns of the original  live broadcasts.  The content is as @DarrenDev  says the same as broadcast  on Sky just unfortunately  the EPG description  is misleading.

Just read the reply from Zulu17, sorry you’re reply is not correct I’ve just compared EE tv for this evening with Sky tv only a few programmes are the same the majority are different so I still believe EE is “Not fit for purpose” using old repeats which appear every day!!
I would like a call from EE to explain how they think EE tv is the same as Sky!!

@Falcoray EE TV don't produce any content - we only provide access to channels from other suppliers.  The video stream being sent to Sky TV is the same video stream that comes to EE TV. As long as you're comparing the same channels, the same content will be shown - regardless of what the TV Guide says (which we're currently having issues with).

Yes it is they missold me this then gave me 20 pounds to say sorry ,its terrible now tv is a con its over priced got to pay extra for everything

I've been with EEtv for 6 months and have to say I'm not totally impressed compared to Virgin. I have got a second box from EE to try and resolve lagging and resets. Second box did exactly the same. I put on a complaint and they suggested downgrading my routers to older versions, this would result in the loss of wifi 7. No chance. I asked if it would possible to switch to the apple TV which they have agreed too. Robyn was great in customer services and I don't regret moving from the overpriced VM. Was given the choice of cancelling of my TV with EE but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. As it will be a new TV contract I will get 14 days cooling off too
