Having decided to save money by leaving Sky and moving to EETV, I am beginning to regret the decision less than a week in.
the boxes keep freezing, is this normal?
the WiFi is supposedly at a level I had previously with BT so can only assume that it’s not a network issue.
what am I doing wrong?

@IainB2025 I appreciate this may not be the easiest thing to test, but if possible it's worth a try, or also worth trying it via WiFi but in closer range of your Hub.
I'd recommend checking your software is all up to date too by going to Settings > Information & Reset > Software Information > Update Software.

I can’t tell if your Box Pro is in Aerial Mode or IP Mode, but it seems to be Aerial Mode. You do know, though, that if you set up a box in IP Mode, you have to reset it to use Aerial Mode, you can’t just plug an aerial in?
But assuming proper Aerial Mode:-
Use a Loopthrough cable (female to male coax TV cable) from the Aerial Out on the Pro Box to the Aerial In on the TV.
If this makes the TV glitch on the looped through cable, you have a faulty Box Pro, and should ask EETV for a replacement.
If not, compare the TV performance over the looped through cable with the performance over HDMI from the Box Pro fed by the aerial. If the Box Pro glitches, and only that, then you have a (differently) faulty Box Pro, and should ask EETV for a replacement.
Box Minis only work in IP Mode, and so will behave differently from what you are reporting with the Box Pro in Aerial Mode,

Yes - had no working tv all Christmas as both boxes have gone down and when restart come up with error messages
was bad before constant error messages but haven’t been able to get tv on at all last couple days so regret leaving sky now even though that had its moments but nothing as bad
i also don’t rate the WiFi and the EE signal has gone terrible in my area lately so must be an issue there too .virtually no phone signal so when I phone them it cuts off

I just moved from BT to EE broadband and tv as advised but regret every minute of it. The broadband service within the house is dramatically reduced compared to BT Halo. EETV box wouldn't connect properly via Wifi poor signal and its only 3m away. EE wants more money to provide me with a better hub , yeah right. Customer service are not sympathetic at all and also dealing with a swap from BT to EE broadband at another property at the same time which turned into disaster as they of their own backs cancelled both BT and EE accounts and charged our account for £271 for early contract exit. None of which we had authorised. So poor service all round. I am now outwith the cancellation period but believe me I will never purchase an EE product again once the contracts expires on these 2 properties and 4 phones.

As much as I hate the left wing SKY narrative, their TV services work very well. It's just they don't have TNT sport so to have it is an extra premium on top of extra premium. I'm two months in switched from SKY to EE and it's been an absolute litany of broken streaming and glitchy service. Apps crash, TV doesn't load. The WiFi works fine, it's the EE servers they're using, they're cheap and nasty.

This is true. It's cheap nasty servers which ee use and are useless

We're new to EE from SKY. I've done this reset 10+ times, they've sent new boxes. It's not the boxes, it's not the WiFi , it's the EE TV servers. They won't fix or upgrade those. BUYER'S REMORSE

Yes it doesn't help. The EE WiFi and boxes are not the problem. They're great. It's their EE TV servers and they know it. They're cheap and nasty and can't handle the data traffic. Too bad.

To answer my own question, YES IT IS!!.
I have cancelled the contract as I was on day 14 of my cooling off period and gone back to Sky. Sky offered the same price as EE sp I have not last out financially. However, very disappointed in the technical side of EETV. The broadband is on a par with my previous BT, but that may be because I am full fibre to the house from the exchange.
