Can someone tell me how I can watch yesterday’s F1 sprint race - or any F1 event from Friday or Saturday - at Miami?

Yes, I have. Nowhere to be seen. This is a constant frustration for me. It has stuff from previous GPs, but it seems that until the weekend is complete, nothing shows for the current GP.

I just can’t see how to watch this if I’ve forgotten to record. Seems somewhat ironic that we have to rely on old school recordings to view this content.

Unfortunately I cannot comment on why the replays aren't available yet - it may be a content rights issue that prevents them from publishing the replays straight away.

Fair enough, but it is very hard to imagine why watching content live is OK, yet trying to watch from the beginning a few minutes later is not.  Users have paid to watch the content, so I really cannot see any commercial (or other) reason why they should not be allowed to watch at any time apart from the exact live time of broadcast.  And yet, recordings are allowed??

Hmm.... beyond me.

I'm sure there must be a way to do this.

OK, so I contacted NOW TV, and astonishingly, they said that 'because it is a live event it is not possible to watch from the beginning'!  I pointed out that it is a standard feature of watching 'live events' on BBC, Prime, etc. but she had no answer. Only highlights can be seen 24 hours after the event.  So, if you come in a bit late and have missed the start, you are stuffed!

Appalling!

Why is this ironic? Sometimes older technology is still more reliable and/or functional than newer!

In this case, recording is absolutely a better way of viewing, than online methods.

Hi @imacken

I've just had a look in the Now app on both an iPad and iPhone, and I'm seeing the option to watch the practice session, Sprint Quali and Race.

Once the app loaded it was under Sport, then there was a section a little way down the page for 2026 Miami Grand Prix Highlights.

@Michael_D Thanks.

Yes, that is because they are made available after 24 hours. Nothing before that.
