Hi all.
Fairly new the EE community, used to be over there in the BT forums alot, took the opportunity to migrate to EE last night as the pricing was favourable, did it all online. Also DarrenDev said over on the BT forums that UltraBoost would only be available to true EE customers. (When it is available that is)
Had a question around the billing of Now Boost....
As far as my package is concerned I have done the following:
BT900 -> EE900
BT BigSport + HD UHD Addon -> EE Big Sport (was not presented an option for HD addons)
So yeah, no change in package at all however I was not offered any HD addon like I was when I ordered BT all those months ago, obviously I want the HD stuff and Now Boost but just wanted to confirm please because my summary mail is confusing.
At the top is says this:
Then further down it says:
Anyone able to explain that, yes on the one hand im happy that its mentioning that I am getting it with my EETV package but its also telling me im dropping it?
Thank you.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Sorry for the confusion - it's dropping it as a paid add-on, and adding it as an included part of your new subscription.

Thanks Darren, I thought that might be the case, I am happy with that.
You might be able to to help some other questions....
1: My NowTV account is still associated with the same mail ID as it was when I was BT, do I need to do anything?
2: Same question but with regards to Discovery Plus?
3: I ordered a EETV Box Pro
a: Do I still get SkySports HD and TNT Sports UHD in the planner like I did with BT
b: Is the multicast tech still exactly the same....I use my own router and it worked great with BT TV?
I think the answer to all 3 questions is that I dont need to do anything right, its just billing? (Aside from swap the BT Box for the EETV Box?

Nothing to do - everything should just migrate across. Your bill colour will have changed, and you'll need to select the "EE Broadband" login if you use any of the EE TV apps, but otherwise, everything else is the same.

Thanks Darren.
Yeah my email said that my services would go live on the 26th and my equipment was being sent on the 25th, but I got a text this morning saying that at least my Broadband Order was complete and my broadband is now limited to 100Mbps....ah cr4p.

I can see your line just re-sync'd (after over 10 months with no drop-out! The longest I've ever seen!).
It's still showing as being at 1Gbps here though. Are you seeing a drop in speed?

I have a UPS, I just rebooted my router. 🙂 Dammit I just spoilt my uptime for nothing, this is my fault.
I am embarrassed, it seems the back of my house is stuck on 100Mbps and not upstairs and the front....I did the speed test from one end of the network.
This issue is entirely my own lol.....must have a duff cable that I just happened to notice now, need to check my switches.
Sorry, just bad timing 🙂

Dear EE/BT.
Please accept my apologies for potentially blaming you for a speed change post migration, coincidently the uplink between my attic switch and office switch had negotiated at 100Mbps and not 2.5Gbps, Ive solved it now.
I will forever be in your debt, this was 100% my fault. 🙂

Hi @naylor2006
As you are taking a new 24 EETV subscription, I believe that EE offer an extra box free with Big Sport as detailed in
You may have to ask for it but it should be offered to you.

I didnt see it, I only selected EETV Pro box during the order wizard as it made me choose one, I didnt attempt to add another, but it looked chargeable from memory.
I'm happy with single box though, we use Apple TV predominantly (I've always had them) here and the BTTV Pro Box is really only used for recording things such as football if I cannot watch it live, App based NOW doesnt offer a long enough timeframe to rewatch, only two hours I think, so the TV box is mainly used for that in the living room.
