EE set top box Netflix

We have just transferred from a BT set top box to an EE one.   On the Netflix app we have profile locks on the adult accounts so our children can only watch appropriate age programmes.  On our old remote we could type in the numbers and it would show **** on the screen but now we can't type in numbers on the new controller only use arrow keys to select numbers but the children can then see which numbers we are choosing.  We have called EE and Netflix and no one is helping.  Please can anyone advise?

I've just checked @Ladygray - they're using their own PIN protection within the Netflix app rather than the YouView option, so unfortunately it's outside of our control. The only suggestion I can make is that your raise it as feedback to Netflix directly, for future consideration.

Thanks for coming to the community. 

Does the profile lock numbers only show for Netflix? Or, is this the same for every app that you have a parental lock set up for? 

If this is only happening with Netflix, the Parental controls on Netflix help centre page has information and troubleshooting for the Netflix Parental controls.
