Am I missing something here? When playing back recordings from the TV, the play/progress bar stays on the screen. Most other devices/apps usually make it disappear within a few seconds . Isn’t an app issue or is there a button that needs pressed on the remote, or a setting somewhere?
It doesn’t seem to happen every time , but I’m having to quite playback and go back in, and sometimes it will go, other times it stays on screen. Grrrr. Help!

I have the same issue, I have discovered that it only happens when there are others programs in the series still to view, lower down on the page. I have also discovered that two "down" presses, followed by two "back" presses achieves the desired result. Guess it will be fixed in the fullness of time.

Normally the back button on the remote would clear.

This happens to me too, mostly after several rewinds and forwards. I've found that powering off and then on again via the remote, then reselecting the recording generally does the trick ... until the next time.

I’m getting it too? Really annoying as my mother is very anti-tech she’s hating this bug.
Might have to get a freesat box just to satisfy her
