EE TV Channel 4 on Apple TV going blurry

I have the gigabit connection and ee tv on Apple TV. All of the channels are fine except channel 4 he. Goes blurry every few seconds then back to normal.  Nothing wrong with my connection. Plenty of bandwidth and not a WiFi issue. Happens on cable too. No other hd channel does the same they are all fine. This is when using the EE TV app not the channel 4 app

Is this something that has happened since the start? Or just tonight? Any specific programmes? Or everything?

Last few days. Not sure I’ve seen it not do it to be honest. Not a regular channel I watch. Does it whenever I watch. Only had the box for 2 weeks. All other channels no problem just channel 4 hd

Quick update on this one: we've confirmed statistics show that Channel 4 HD isn't running as smooth as it should - you're not the only one seeing the quality drop.  We're trying to find the cause.

Thanks for confirming. Good to know it’s not my eyes going blurry every few seconds 

The good news is that we've identified the fault, which was intermittently affecting a few channels.

It has now been fixed - all channels are back to full quality, and we've added alarms in case this happens again in future.  Thanks for reporting it.

I'm having the same problem with channel 4 app. Are there still issues?

The issue previously discussed was with channel 4 in the EE TV app. That issue is resolved. 

If you're having quality issues with the channel 4 app, I'm afraid they need to be directed to channel 4.

Sorry to bump this, @DarrenDev - I'm noticing the same with Channel 4 right now, it's been like this since just before 6pm today. I've just tried restarting the Apple TV, and have done a speedtest as well (it is hardwired) and no issues there. Other channels seem to be fine.

I don't have the same issue streaming channel 4 directly via the channel 4 app instead of the EE one.

Update: as of 18:35 it seems to be back to normal now

Our stats agree with you @norwoody - they show that average quality has dropped for most people over the last 90 minutes.  We're investigating.
