EE Apple TV - I cannot get my free to air (Freeview) channels

Hi I have a new Apple EE TV box and I have selected my region and on the EE app I cannot see any of my Freeview channels  - BBC, UTV, CH4 etc. What do I need to do to see these on the EE app?

Hi I have this same issue with my Apple TV, though its not one provided by EE its an existing device I already had. Can this be resolved?

@TD008 no - Freeview channels are only available on Apple TVs provided as part of an EE TV subscription.  Using your own device will not work.

hello, I'm in a similar situation — have received the appleTV box and only seeing a handful of channels via the EE app tv guide. Can someone please do the serial number check on the box? I've reset the device a number of times without any seeing any changes.... thank you

@absorption yours was part of a batch that Apple tell us they registered on Saturday, however I've submitted a request to ask them to check again.  I'll update you when I've had confirmation.

@absorption could I ask you to please try another factory reset now?  Apple claim they've processed it again, but we can't tell until you try it.

@absorption the fault has been found and fixed. I'm assured that it will definitely work this time, if you factory reset again.
