Does No. of Mini Boxes affect No. of channel you can watch/record?

Does watching TV from a mini box reduce the number of channels I can watch/record on the main box by 1?

Currently, and disappointly, as I connect via WIFI (I dont have an aerial) I can only record from 2 channels at once (and I also have watch one of them whilst it does so).  If I get a mini box and my daughter starts watching it up in her bedroom does that mean I can only watch/record 1 thing during that time or are the mini box connections independent of the main box connections?

It does not, they are independent.

The faster your broadband the more channels you could theoretically record at the same time on the Pro Box, but for reasons only known to EE (commercial/managing support for slower connections at a guess), the limit currently is 2.

You need to plan your viewing to get the most out of the box, use iPlayer and the watchlist instead of recording anything on BBC and look for late night showings or repeats to record instead of during peak viewing hours.

Or just use the catch up apps, which have very poor picture quality and plenty of adverts.
