Can you download the Disney+ app to your TV? If not, why not? It's available on other TVs.
My microwave has a little screen on it. Why can't I download it to there?
The reason is that apps aren't universal - they need to be specifically written for each platform, and even every version of every platform (e.g. an app for a 2020 Samsung TV may not work on a 2021 Samsung TV).
There's no app written for EE TV boxes, and it's between Disney and YouView to develop one. There's then the commercial agreement to be able to release it on every model of TV Box, along with agreements on who and how it's supported. What about subscription? If the app is on the EE TV box then you might expect to be able to add it to your EE TV bill - that would require agreements between Disney and EE, and changes to ordering systems to handle it.
There's a lot more to it than you'd think @Chrisbh1989

Either that’s a joke that I missed, or, if you are serious, there is a joke that you missed.
But note that the recipient liked it 😛

Same here, I was told exactly the same, and I was also told HD was included but now apparently I have to pay extra and my sky is still running too and not been switched off, only the broadband has stopped and it's been two weeks now, I've now gotta go through sky and cancel before I get charged. Very poor expeience so far, and you'd think that they would include top apps like Disney or Paramount, I've now got to buy a bloody Chromecast so i can watch these apps from my phone, come on EE, come into the 21st century and keep up

Just switched on EE Tv and like everyone else Disney+ & YouTube are not there. Fortunately I have a Samsung TV that has the Disney+ & YouTube Apps, so looks like I'll be using them moving forward.

@Dmwilson767 YouTube and mostly recently paramount plus should be there if you have the Pro or mini box, but you may need to scroll along the apps a bit. You may need to do an update of you don't see them.
With regards to Disney plus, you won't know until or if it appears and is announced on the forums.
