This is not on the apps list. Can I add it on to it? I tried to share screen from my iPhone but it didn’t work

@liz150

You can’t add Disney, or indeed anything, to the apps list on the Box Pro and the Box Mini.

If you have the EETV AppleTV box, you may find, outside of the EETV app, that it is already there; and if not, you can add it from the Apple AppStore.

If you have other smart devices, most especially a smart TV, you may find that it is already there; and if not, you may be able to add it from the TV or the device’s AppStore.

Failing that, consider a Roku, or an Amazon FireStick, device to provide it, for somewhere between £30 and £50 depending if you want 4K or not.

I’m disappointed too. Sales advisor lied to my face basically saying it’s exactly the same as sky. My internet would be better and I’ll still get all same apps and better tv etc. all we watch are netlix and Disney plus. I can’t believe Disney plus isn’t available and to watch Disney movies we have to pay extra. So not worth the switch I’m extremely disappointed. Also internet is extremely slow and buffers on almost everything. I’ve only had it one day and I wish I never made the switch

@Porsha96  even if Disney+ was available on the pro box , you’d still have to pay for that service.  Just like you do for Paramount+.    Even if you got an EE Apple TV you still pay for the subscriptions for other apps that you could download on it.

Of course I know that but Disney plus  subscription costs around £10 a month for unlimited use. On ee I can watch maybe 3/4 things for that price. You understand?

@Porsha96

Nope. What can you get on EETV for £3.33 or £2.50 a month?

And you can get Disney+ from £5.00 a month, and it would cost the same if EETV had it, so it’s just the inconvenience of having Disney in a different place from EETV you would suffer.

Each Disney movie that I’ve seen costs around £3 each to rent/buy. Disney
plus costs a couple pounds more with unlimited access.
Also you do realise some people only use one tv and don’t have other smart
devices. I have a phone but I don’t want to watch movies with my kids on my
phone. I want to use my tv which I now can’t. I find your comment really
ignorant. Yes it is inconvenient as the only tv I could watch Disney plus
on I no longer can now.

@Porsha96   If you’re not happy with it are you still within your cooling off period?   Thats 14 days from when you got it.   You’re not obligated to stay if the service doesn’t give you Disney plus and you still within the cooling off period.    If it’s past 14 days there’s nothing you can do about it,
( online or phone sales only ).   If it was a store purchase you’ll need to go back to that store and say you was miss sold the product).

 You could always purchase a cheap FireStick or Roku Express or any such device that gives you this,  then you can put it in any TV and all you need is an internet connection.

Because from my original comment it’s more the point of being lied to by
the sales guy. He was the one that even asked me if I watch all those apps
including Disney plus, so yes I’m upset I got lied to and I’m clearly not
the first and probably not the last either.

I totally get it. I have to swap between my TV and PS5 for channels I watch and wanted everything in one place. This is why I asked if EETV had Disney plus. It seems the sales people have trouble telling the difference between Disney and Discovery.

@Porsha96

You are new here, so I will overlook the personal abuse, but you might want to read the Community Guidelines before you go much further 😢

As @Chris_B points out, if you can’t download Disney to your current TV, you could obtain an inexpensive Roku or Firestick device and connect it to an HDMI input on your TV to get Disney,.

Or I second his view that even if the 14-day cooling period is over, if an EETV employee told you that you could have Disney+, and didn’t make it clear that this applies only to the EETV AppleTV device, then as you were missold, you should be able to leave without penalty.

However, if you don’t need to record, and you don’t mind watching the Freeview channels that it doesn’t carry on your TV instead, then ask EETV to swap your Box Pro for an EETV AppleTV, where you will find Disney+ as one of the apps outside of EETV, and you can subscribe to it directly there at the regular price for whatever level you desire.
