I am very disappointed to learn that, having been informed that whatever I have with Sky, (including Disney+), I will have with EE! Infact this is not the case!
I now have a subscription for a channel that I cannot access via EE TV, that is, was, watched a great deal, and to add insult to injury, paid a 'one off' charge.
Having a Sky Glass TV, my options were to switch mobile from EE to Sky, or switch Sky broadband and TV to EE? it looks like I should have stayed with Sky, but was enticed to EE by the promise of equality with the added bonus of cost.

Hi @RobKurn
You can subscribe separately to Disney plus if you want via Disney.
Did you not look into the service before swapping.
Thanks

@RobKurn If you are able to use or purchase a fire stick or Roku device you can get Disney plus on that, and you just need to switch between devices using the source button on your TV remote.

If you had taken the EETV AppleTV box, you could have got Disney, though you would still have to (continue to) subscribe to it individually. But you can’t get it on the Box Pro or the Box Mini.
I hope the Guides are being, or have been, educated to make this distinction to prospective customers.

Sadly you are not the first new customer this has happened to, EE (and BT) Guides have been found wanting a number of times in this area as they either want to make a sale no matter what or are incorrectly/inadequately trained, or maybe even both.
Still, caveat emptor and all that.
Sky still deliver the best overall TV experience, but at a price, EE offers access to a core element of that at a discount, but the experience is not as comprehensive or smooth.
Sky Mobile uses O2 and is either great or shocking, depending where you live, the EE mobile network is significantly better, but at a price (see a theme here?).
Having used both, I would choose BT/EE broadband over Sky all day long. The hardware is superior, as is the knowledge within the business to support it (once you get to the right person).
There is no perfect answer as someone once said, only trade offs. Which trade offs are acceptable is up to you. Depending on when you made your purchase, you should have at least 14 days to change your mind.

I had exactly the same issue. Was assured over the phone and in store that EE TV supported Disney Plus, only to find yesterday when setting up that it doesn't.
My work around is to cast from my laptop using Google Chromecast. Hope this helps.

The EETV Apple TV box provides Disney+. The Box Pro and Box Mini don’t.
If you want Disney+ you need to specify that you want the one and not the other.
This ought to have been made clear to you, but perhaps it wasn’t 😢
However, it is not too late to call up EETV and request the change. And get someone to explain very clearly to you the differences between the two boxes,

The Apple TV box was never offered as an option, despite the fact that I explicitly asked about the availability of Disney Plus.
I have my work around so will stick with that as we're now up and running with the EE Pro box.
Thanks for your advice anyway, much appreciated.
