Since the move to HBO Max, on the HBO Max app, I can only watch TNT Sport. Try to watch anything else. e.g. The Pitt, I just get a 'Get Access' type message about this not being available with my package.
I realise that I can watch these on NOW app, but what is the situation with the HBO Max app?

It's covered in many of the other threads on this board already @imacken
If you have Now TV and want to enable access to HBO Max Entertainment content then you can contact Now TV and they'll provide an activation link. If you log in with the same account as your TNT Sports one, you'll have access to it all on one account. Please note that your HBO Max subscription level will be "Basic With Ads" meaning you will see ads before/during content. If you have Now Boost, you'll be able to watch the same content in the Now app but without seeing any ads.
To request activation from Now TV:

Thanks for that Darren. It helped.
I have to say that this whole thing s a mess. Totally confusing and very time consuming on TV boxes, phones, iPads, PCs, Macs etc.
I really would have expected a smoother transition. All that worked well was the fact that TNT was watchable still on the TV schedule and on HBO Max without any grief!

I don't have Now TV, but I have TNT sports with EE mobile. How can I add HBO max (movies/TV) to it. When I tried in the app/webiste it says contact your provider ( which is EE). But I see no option to add it. Any way of doing it

@KiranT if you used the discovery+ app previously, then use that same email address and password to log into HBO Max now. Log into discovery+ first, just to confirm the exact username you previously used.
If you haven't used discovery+ before then make sure you've activated it via the EE Mobile activation process.

But if you already used the discovery+ app which I have for 2 years how can you add the rest of the hbo max content to be available as its only TNT sport available on hbo max and everything else says get access and when you click that it says contact provider.

The whole thing is very confusing. I have access to stuff on HBO Max now that used to say ‘Get Access’, however I am still confused. We were told to use Now app for HBO Max content, and that does work a lot of the time. However, there is stuff on HBO that I don’t see on Now.

There's no need for it to be confusing @imacken - the intention is that you use HBO Max for TNT Sports, and Now TV for Entertainment. People have chosen to make life more complicated for themselves by activating the Now TV entitlement on HBO Max - this was advised against from the start.
It does appear that there are a few programmes on HBO Max that aren't appearing on Now TV in the right place - consider them an added bonus if you chose to take the more complicated route.

I'm sorry Darren, but I find your somewhat dismissive attitude a bit surprising here. Everyone I know - and many people here - have found the transition to be confusing.
It's not a case of programmes not appearing 'in the right place' on Now, they don't appear at all. I don't have access to these apps atm, but pretty sure an example of this is the film Argo. Nowhere on Now but immediately watchable on HBO Max.
You suggest that users are making 'life more complicated for themselves', but I don't agree. Why shouldn't we make arrangements to see content on HBO Max that we can't see elsewhere?
It's the lack of coherent guidance on the transition all round that is making life more complicated than it should be IMO, but I guess we won't agree on that.
