Apple TV trial not working

Hi
Like many others I'm really struggling to activate the 6 month free Apple TV subscription. I have the add on live on my account, however the link I was sent via 150 does not work, just goes straight to apple tv home page with the offer of a free 7 day trial. I've had two lengthy calls with EE now, one suggesting I openened the link over mobile data (doesn't work) and another where I was just fobbed off and never heard back. Not sure why something so seemingly simple is proving complicated with zero support on offer from EE. Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this?

I’m on an iPhone. I went to the ee app in the rewards part and it said 6 months free trial so I clicked it to confirm then only gave me a week so cancelled it

Have you tried setting it up over mobile data, rather than WiFI, @Dizzle24?
Is your correct phone number displayed in your phone settings?

Did anyone get a resolution for this? I've tried all the suggestions in the thread, (apart from calling EE, as I'm in my early fifties and don't want to waste what's left of my life, waiting to be answered). I'd appreciate any up to date guidance.

Hi Katie
I don't get that far. In the email reminder I received from EE, I click the link to activate Apple TV but when it takes me to the page where I can see NowTV etc. Apple TV doesn't show up, so there's no way to click to activate.

Hello @CP1276.
Please follow these steps:
- text TV PLUS to 150. We will send you a 6 months’ free activation code.
- or log in to EE or download the EE app and go to Plan & Add-ons > Add-ons > Apple TV+
- then follow the instructions we send you
