Hi there,
I've just ordered BT TV and been sent EE kit as they've merged.
I currently use a dratek router that deals with my full fiber 900mb line.
I've contacted to the BT TV box to my wireless signal it's downloaded all the TV guide etc. however it will not play the picture at all!
Not even my subscriptions like sky channels etc, not even free view!
I did get sent the EE smart hub however I don't actually want to use this, so am I at a lost cause here?

Do you know if your kits has been activated yet? If not, you need to wait for that.
i would suggest though, that rather than running before you can walk, you install and use the supplied EE router, at least until everything is up and running properly.
As EETV, quite reasonably, won’t deal with any difficulties you have unless you are using their supplied router.
Once everything is working OK, you can look at swapping the Draytek router back in, and see if it works unproblematically, notably with the EETV-supplied channels in the EPG, without either flooding your network or giving IPC6023, from the Box Pro, if you have it, or the Box Mini.
If you do have issues with the Draytek but not the EE router, read up on the web about IGMP Snooping, and if you can’t fix it for yourself, come back here and ask the experts on this topic.

You can test the router configuration for EE TV with channel 330 - the demo channel which works even with no subscription. I have a TP link router which took a few goes to get the multicast config right.

Thanks for the reply,
According to BT my TV package was live today, however they say my fiber package goes live today, but the thing is I never ordered fiber, I already had it with BT on a rolling contract, I just order BT TV.
I can't disconnect the dratek due to it being used, I even tried to stick ethernet from Dratek to EE smart hub but still no internet connection, and I can't seem to find Bridge mode

Thanks for the reply!
So I went to 330, and I get IP6023 error code.
How did you sort your multicast config?

There are a few posts which helped. This is for a TP link router, IGMP snooping and IGMP Proxy were enabled. Important is the need to configure a second WAN interface using a fixed IP 10.10.x.x which allows the IPTV to be enabled. The routing table entries are created automatically. The other obvious thing I missed was to configure the DNS to use BT. Hope that helps,
