Hi received the following today 24th Feb 2020 at 1400.
From 07377 625151
EE: We were unable to process your latest bill. In order to avoid fees, update your billing information via https:// id.ee.co.uk - billing - update -feb24 . info Space in to stop anyone accidentally clicking on link, as it is being reported as an infected site by my Anti Virus.
This is obviously a scam as my bill is paid according to my bank.

@Peachie : It's a scam! There are many of these going the rounds. EE would never send you a msg asking you to click on a link in order to update your a/c.
Report it to your network provider by forwarding it to 7726 (S.P.A.M. on your keypad).
That domain, faked to look like EE, was only created today in Malaysia.

@Frudy : Not if you just clicked on the link. The danger is filling in any of their fake forms.

Hi @Frudy.
Welcome to the EE Community.
Could you forward this message onto 7726 to report it, then delete the message?
Did you fill in any details?

Hi there,
I just received a text saying unable to process bill. I clicked the link and logged in as I had some direct debits issues at the weekend and thought it was real. Noticed they were asking alot of questions and didn't continue but the link looked very real! I have since deleted the text unfortunately. Please advise if I need to do anything?
Thanks
Abbie
