Scam call advising I am getting 40% off future bills due to being loyal customer

Phone number 020 4514 7815 woman with Indian accent called saying as they have had lots of complaints and I am happy with their service, they are giving me 40% off all future bills. I hung up as I knew it was a scam and I wasn't sure if they were accessing my device whilst on my mobile.

You can check if a call is genuine and from us on our How Do We Contact You page, or if the call was from our Direct Partners at Phone numbers EE partners will call from. Although, it seems you're good at identifying that already! 

If you're concerned about unsolicited contact from other companies, you can visit How to avoid and prevent scams including phishing, vishing and smishing for hints on how to block and prevent these.
