I have recently started a SIMO contract with a phsyical SIM Card , and want to get 2FA set up using a passkey. Tried to sort this through my desktop but I get a message as below:
I have also tried through the EE app on the phone I am using the SIM card in and I get in a loop of having a code text to me, then going through the normal sign-in steps of email address & password, which returns me to the app on the page that starts the process for adding a passkey, an endless loop of signing in, getting a text and going back to the start.
Any help of getting around this so I can secure my account would be greatly appreciated

When you set up a passkey, you can log in using your fingerprint, PIN or face recognition. EE won't store your fingerprint, PIN or face data. It's always kept safely on your device, which is why you can only set up a passkey on devices that support this feature.
You can find out more on our Passkeys for EE ID page.
If you're stuck in a loop with the One-Time-PIN sent to your device, I'd recommend clearing the EE app cache and making sure its the latest version. Also best to be connected to Mobile Data when setting this up, rather than WiFi.

So I understand what a passkey is as I use it alot for work and other things. I have tried your suggestions, clearing the app cache and running in cellular instead of WiFi, and the app loads a browser screen with takes me to a sign in screen, then sends me a text with a code to enter (had 6 or 7 of them from the amount if times ive tried now) and then when I enter the code the browser closes and im taken back to the security screen of the app which helpfully suggests I set up a passkey. This isnt the best experience for a brand new customer if im honest so any other suggestions would be welcome, because there's definitely something wrong here

@ElderCryptid Have you tried setting your default browser on your phone to a different one such as Chrome during the passkey setup to see if there is any issue there?
Do you have any VPN active on your phone or other privacy setting that could be disabled during setup to make sure that is not causing any issues?
