I have received a phone call, supposedly from EE, stating that they are swapping from 4G to 5G on Friday and that I habanero being sent a new SIM and the old one will not work after Friday. Impossible to speak to anybody on EE app so wondered if anybody else has heard of this

Had the same this morning from number 0204-625-9792 claiming that my EE SIM would stop working within 24 hours and that I'd be getting a free SIM sent to me and then asking me to confirm details, but before I gave them anything advised I'd call EE direct on 150 to discuss. Blocked the number and they tried calling back immediately from an unknown number on 3 occasions.

I've had the same call (3 times today) very convincing, I gave him my email ... I haven't received an email but have decided to hang up and block the callers. The 3 phone numbers are 0204 4591 8040, 0208 044 9624 and 0204 4621 9902
