I have received a phone call, supposedly from EE, stating that they are swapping from 4G to 5G on Friday and that I habanero being sent a new SIM and the old one will not work after Friday. Impossible to speak to anybody on EE app so wondered if anybody else has heard of this

Hello @winkydinky.
Welcome to the EE Community.
These aren't numbers from any of our partners.
I would recommend reporting this by completing this online form.
Our back office team will then be able to investigate this further.

Looks as if this is kicking off again. I’ve just received a call saying my sim is being cancelled and replaced. They said they were sending an email which never arrived, then I had a text with a pin no which she asked for. Alarm bells went off and I hung up. Phone number was 07710 823669

@Lauraoneill421 Then you need to call customer to request this. Your number can only exist on one SIM.
A scam call doesn’t mean it’s been compromised it’s just means someone tried to scam you.
